Why this tool?
This tool will check your thermostat wiring to confirm if it is compatible with the Cync Smart Thermostat.
To get started, turn off the power to your thermostat and remove your thermostat’s face so that you can check which wires are connected to your terminals.

Once your thermostat's power is turned off and the face is removed, you can now check which wires are connected to your terminals.
